Comprehensive Plan Update (CPU) Steering Committee

This planning process will be guided by a steering committee comprised of designated Riverhead Board and Committee members, and several engaged members from different sectors in the community. The committee will be led by BFJ Planning, the Town's planning consultants, and the Town of Riverhead Planning Department. 

The role of the CPU Steering Committee is to provide perspective on information gathered and provide feedback on draft documents, policies, and implementation actions. The committee will also help plan for and publicize public engagement events. 

The Steering Committee fosters openness and inclusion in the master planning process.  Monthly committee meetings are open to the public to watch. Meetings may be held virtually on ZOOM or in person. Check the events calendar for more information about specific meetings.
